Southern Pest Control has been operating in South Hampton Roads and the Peninsula since 1988. We offer service plans for residential pest control, termite control, mosquito control, yard treatments, and pest control for your pets. Commons pests covered in our service plans include termites, ants, roaches, spiders, centipedes, millipedes, rats, mice, fire ants, scorpions, mosquitos, fleas, and ticks.
We run appointments from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and our Customer Service Department is available from 8am to 7pm Monday through Friday. Customers can also use our Online Customer Service System to schedule service appointments, check account balances, make payments, and view service history.
We schedule exact time appointments on the hour so our customers will know exactly when their technician is scheduled to arrive for their service. We value our customer’s time so we strive to make sure that our technicians arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Our Dispatch Department utilizes a customized routing and tracking system to assist our technicians in arriving on time for their appointment.
In addition to offering Exact Time Appointments, we strive to offer comprehensive service at affordable prices. We employ a ‘Service When You Need It’ approach that calls for responsible application of pesticides so we are able to minimize the cost for our services. We encourage our customers to compare our prices with other companies in our industry as we offer discounts for customers who purchase multiple services.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Southern Pest Control recently. I've been a customer since 2002 and never had any issues with them through the years. Southern Pest Control is one of those rare companies that actually doesn't raise renewal prices every single year. I had an especially noteworthy service performed this year ...and mostly because of the service tech - Ian. Ian was polite, professional and easy to talk to! we signed up for a 2 year contract and have had to call them back out once and am going to call them and schedule them again within the last 6 months. within 2 weeks of them spraying we have spider webs all over our house and porch again.the first time we used them 2 years ago we signed up for a year they were great they came out and sprayed the first time and we didn't see any spiders or bugs anywhere and they automatically came out every couple of months to respray.I don't know if they changed what they use or what but it isn't working.I have also tried to log onto the site with my log on info and it won't let me log on. I bet if I was trying to make a payment I would be able to log on but to request service all of a sudden I can't log on.

We are fairly new to Southern Pest Control here in Virginia Beach. We have had several treatments inside and outside of our home. Everyone has been so kind and professional while here. Matt came today and he was the best too. I showed him a few areas I wanted treated and he went right to it. This company is very thorough and will come whenever you need them. Scheduling was easy & their breakdown of services was easy to understand. Appointment was scheduled at 8:00am and their technician Ian arrived at 8:00am sharp. He was very friendly and respectful and was able to easily explain the process of what he would be doing that day without using any technical terms that an average person wouldn’t understand. Very glad I hired Southern and that Ian was the one doing the Pest Control at my house, it was a great experience and I look forward to having them be my pest control for the next year.Oh and they wear boot covers in your house so they don’t get it dirty!
