Dengue, Chikungunya, Yellow Fever and Zika virus are rapidly spreading in tropical regions throughout the world. Their vector, the Aedes mosquito, is difficult to control as it divides its eggs over various small and hard to find breeding sites and has become resistant to chemical insecticides. How does it work?
The Station explained
The In2Care® Mosquito Station is made of durable recycled polypropylene (PP) components, and consists of a lid, central tube, click-on interface and reservoir. A floater moves along the central tube with the water level and serves as the landing/resting site for mosquitoes. Female mosquitoes are attracted to the Station by adding a tablet with attractive odours to the water. When a female enters the Station she lands on the floater covered with a gauze strip that binds a mix of biological agents with specific modes of action. All biological agents are in use for pest control and are US-EPA approved.
Actives against mosquitoes
The patented In2Care® Mosquito Station provides an attractive breeding site for egg-laying Aedes mosquitoes. When a mosquito enters the station she lands near the water on the floater gauze that binds two actives. The first is a growth regulator that kills the mosquito larvae in the Station and in surrounding breeding sites. The second active is a biological fungus that weakens the mosquito, prevents virus development, and kills the mosquito before she can transmit diseases.

Customer Preparation
Remove any standing water around home, as this is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. All debris needs to be removed from yard or any area to be treated. Cutting back on watering yard will help keep population reduced. Yard should be cut, and bushes trimmed for best results.

Our neighbor alerted us to a huge wasp nest that was attached to an outside window on our home. We have a pest contract with Southern Pest so called them. That very same day they sent Devante Trent to us and he was AWESOME! He bravely sprayed the huge nest and then knocked it all to the ground and finished killing all the eggs. I have been with Southern Pest Control for the last 3 years. They go above and beyond to ensure great customer service and satisfaction. I really can't say enough good things about this company! They always show up on time and are professional, personable, and courteous. Communication is easy, whether it be over the phone or in person. And most importantly, NO FREAKING BUGS! 😁 Most recently, I was highly impressed once again when my tech Matt came out for a scheduled renewal inspection and treatment, (even though we had torrential downpours and the city of Suffolk had issued a severe weather warning). He showed up right on time with a big smile and and just shrugged about the rain, like it wasn't a thing. He went about his inspection and treatment smoothly and efficiently, and even took his time to engage in a little conversation, despite it being the last appointment of the day when he no doubt (but didn't let on) wanted to get home to his family and dry clothes. STELLAR customer service, and top-of-the-line treatments.Oh and did I mention? NO FREAKING BUGS!! 😁 Love these guys ...HIGHLY recommend! 😊

Not really happy and won't renew. Had a scheduled appointment and they canceled an hour prior and said they would call to reschedule. Did you really thing we would get a call? A good company would call and say hey, sorry, we couldn't make it today, but can we reschedule? And I have recommended people in the past, well no more.

Have had SPC for over a decade and their service is outstanding. Had a retreatment today specifically for ants and the service was just as good or better than my annual service. Nathan was right on time. He listened to my concerns (termites vs ants?) and looked at the evidence I pointed out to him. He knew exactly what the issue was and he patiently explained the differences between flying ants and termites. He quickly treated my house inside and out. we signed up for a 2 year contract and have had to call them back out once and am going to call them and schedule them again within the last 6 months. within 2 weeks of them spraying we have spider webs all over our house and porch again.the first time we used them 2 years ago we signed up for a year they were great they came out and sprayed the first time and we didn't see any spiders or bugs anywhere and they automatically came out every couple of months to respray.I don't know if they changed what they use or what but it isn't working.I have also tried to log onto the site with my log on info and it won't let me log on. I bet if I was trying to make a payment I would be able to log on but to request service all of a sudden I can't log on.
