I used Southern pest control almost for 3 years started from my previous place i used to lived and still carry them to my new moved in place as well but somehow whatever they use it never solve the issue i still have bugs and mainly spider all over my house, i had to call them pretty much every month and over year and the second year now still have same issue and manager came by one time and supposed to come next time to check but never come because he was busy and could not match with schedule and i did not mind to someone else to come. Anyhow finally due to my living situation i may had to move and on Sept i spoke with Anthony to cancelling my service staring from Oct and possible to carry them to my new place depending on where i move in he said that is totally fine and confirmed my account has been cancelled with no outstanding balance or due. But very next day lady Lori called said they not going to cancel it i have to pay cancellation fee of if i remember correctly she said around $156 i think, and i told her that Anthony cancelled my account she goes not anymore, that made me very very disappointed after all this time of been loyal customer and told her, that i had all those issue previously but i was still with their company every excuse they gave me due to the bugs and spiders never solved and i was very understanding patiently hopping that bugs spider issue will be gone which it never and i will have all type of spider in my kids room everywhere very sad that my kid has to deal with spider and screaming scared. if i knew i will be treated this way shouldn’t have kept the servers over time to time spending my money every month still dealing with spider and bugs not happy but only reason holding me with them was all technicians are very nice and over the years knew them and i can trust, unfortunately i had to get it cancelled but having issue.she said will check and have my manager know i said ok check your notes that i been calling pretty much every moth with same issue she said ok.I had issue with mice, and they were supposed to come back on 10.10.2024 but they never showed up!i was assuming my account has cancelled probably that why they did not come i have no problem since i asked to cancel.But Lori called today 10.14.2024 said returning my call and i asked her to confirm make sure my account has cancelled she said no it is not cancelled if you want to cancel, it will be $74 per her manager or have to continue to have the service, which not fare, i asked to speak with manager she told me to email her i asked her to have manager call me, i still have not hear back.

When wood roaches began to frequent my house, both outside and inside, I called Southern Pest Control. For years they have provided me with termite inspections, but I had never asked for a home service plan for pest control. I spoke with such a thoughtful and responsive administrator who not only arranged a policy but also sent out to the house the world's nicest man, Linwood. He couldn't have been more helpful. Not only was he knowledgeable and very quickly aware of my aversion to cockroaches, but he was also aware of my concerns about my dog and pesticides. He eased my mind, explained the process thoroughly, and spent a good deal of time examining the perimeter of the house before applying his pest controls. His skill and care were exacting and thoughtful.If you ever need pest control, this is the company to contact. And if you want the best and most knowledgeable individual to come and help you out, ask for Linwood! He rocks!

I have been calling this company for over a month for an additional service as I have seen every type of bug in my home just one week after my schedule spray. The customer service line can never reach my local Richmond office...I'm not sure there is a Richmond office. Definitely regret changing to this company. Helpful tip...if you are in Richmond or the surrounding area go with a more reliable company not this one.

We absolutely love Southern Pest Control! They always do a GREAT job! Matt did our latest service and it was great! My family has 3 cats so we prefer to stay in the house after they spray. We just stay upstairs and they spray downstairs! They are always accommodating to our needs and never make us feel like an inconvenience.

Recently moved to Virginia and was unfamiliar with the area and pests located here. Noticed a couple of nests I had never seen before inside and outside the house. We had Ian come out to take a look. He provided phenomenal service and education about the nests, then promptly took care of them. Fast, efficient, and costly!! Great service, would 100% recommend!!

Our neighbor alerted us to a huge wasp nest that was attached to an outside window on our home. We have a pest contract with Southern Pest so called them. That very same day they sent Devante Trent to us and he was AWESOME! He bravely sprayed the huge nest and then knocked it all to the ground and finished killing all the eggs. He was fun and funny and just delightful to work with. Thank you Southern Pest Control and thank you Devante!

From Richmond, VirginiaDylan, our pest control expert, was thorough, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We are glad to have chosen Southern Pest and recommend their services to friends and family often. They have been protecting us and our home from pests for 25 years. Not only have we never had an out-of-control infestation, but they come out to retreat the yard whenever we suspect an infestation is imminent. We have them for the Termite Protection as well as a Pet Lovers package which covers fleas & ticks. Our experience has been that whatever they do for the fleas and ticks also curbs the mosquitoes. We are quite happy with Southern Pest Control.

I have been with Southern Pest Control for the last 3 years. They go above and beyond to ensure great customer service and satisfaction. I really can't say enough good things about this company! They always show up on time and are professional, personable, and courteous. Communication is easy, whether it be over the phone or in person. And most importantly, NO FREAKING BUGS! 😁 Most recently, I was highly impressed once again when my tech Matt came out for a scheduled renewal inspection and treatment, (even though we had torrential downpours and the city of Suffolk had issued a severe weather warning). He showed up right on time with a big smile and and just shrugged about the rain, like it wasn't a thing. He went about his inspection and treatment smoothly and efficiently, and even took his time to engage in a little conversation, despite it being the last appointment of the day when he no doubt (but didn't let on) wanted to get home to his family and dry clothes. STELLAR customer service, and top-of-the-line treatments.Oh and did I mention? NO FREAKING BUGS!! 😁 Love these guys ...HIGHLY recommend! 😊

Not really happy and won't renew. Had a scheduled appointment and they canceled an hour prior and said they would call to reschedule. Did you really thing we would get a call? A good company would call and say hey, sorry, we couldn't make it today, but can we reschedule? And I have recommended people in the past, well no more.

Have had SPC for over a decade and their service is outstanding. Had a retreatment today specifically for ants and the service was just as good or better than my annual service. Nathan was right on time. He listened to my concerns (termites vs ants?) and looked at the evidence I pointed out to him. He knew exactly what the issue was and he patiently explained the differences between flying ants and termites. He quickly treated my house inside and out. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Nathan reinforced my confidence that SPC is the pest control company I will stick with.

Today Dylan came out, to take care of a Bee problem we had. We also noticed a lot of ants crawling along our foundation, along the bricks going into cracks. Dylan helped set me up with a Service Plan to help eliminate the problem. He explained everything in detailed did not try to talk me into something I did not need. Southern Pest Control is one of those rare companies that actually doesn't raise renewal prices every single year.
