Southern & Sovereign Pest Control is proud to announce our sponsorship of the Climb for Conversation Team that is running the Virginia Beach Rock n Roll Half Marathon on August 31st. Climb for Conservation, Inc. is a non-profit public charity that raises money and awareness for local environmental causes by climbing the tallest mountains in the world. Their teams have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mt. Machu Picchu in Peru, and the Gran Paradiso in Italy. Their mountain climbs enable them to make donations to causes that promote conservation and the protection of endangered species such as the endangered rhino and elephant. Climbing the world’s tallest mountains is an exciting way to draw attention to the importance of protecting the environment and we are happy to support the cause.
It is important for a pest control company to balance environmental responsibility with effective pest control service. At Southern & Sovereign Pest Control, we strive to apply pesticides in an eco-friendly manner in order to minimize the impact on the environment. Our Service When You Need It approach to pest control calls for only applying pesticides only when necessary so that our customers receive effective service with minimal application of chemicals.
Southern & Sovereign Pest Control is also committed to business practices that promote conservation. We have our ongoing Paperless Project which is our commitment to invest in technology that will reduce or eliminate our use of paper as we conduct our business activities. As a part of this effort, all paper products that are used at our corporate headquarters are recycled.
A team from Climb for Conservation will be traveling to Argentina in the winter of 2016 to climb Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the Americas with a peak of 22,837 feet. Southern & Sovereign Pest Control is looking forward to supporting this climb and the good work that is being done by the team at Climb for Conservation.
